Software Terms of Use

All software is sold subject to your agreement with CDE Software's License Agreement during the installation of the program (or when you break the shrinkwrap from clipart products).

CDE Software accepts no responsibility for pirated software and does not offer technical support to possessors of pirated software.

Users of pirated software should know that generally pirated software contains problems that can cause sever hard drive and system failures and may potentially cause data corruption. Using pirated software is very risky and..... against the law. Just don't do it.

CDE Software does not offer technical support to possessors of the software that are not shown as licensed for the software in CDE Software's customer database. If the software was given to you, a transfer of ownership must be signed by the previous owner and must be returned to CDE Software with the appropriate payment.

CDE Software does not offer upgrade pricing to possessors of the software that are not shown as licensed for the software in CDE Software's customer database. Each computer that a product is installed on, must have its own unique serial number to identify that a license has been properly obtained and paid for, for use with that computer.

Because of the nature of the software industry, specifications and features may change without notice. CDE provides this guarantee to provide ample time for you to make a decision if the software meets your needs. CDE provides downloadable demonstrations of most products for you to examine before purchase.

Registration Codes

All CDE Software products require a registration code to work. Without a Registration Code, the software will operate in a Demonstration mode and will limit the operation of the program. Even if you purchase and download the software from CDE Software or one of its authorized dealers, it will run in Demo mode until the proper Registration Code is entered.

CDE Software offers two types of Registration Codes. Temporary and Permanent. Temporary Codes may only be available after a product has been purchased and the payment authorized. They will work for 30 days only.

Permanent Registration Codes are sent after an order has been fully processed.

CDE Software Return and Refund Policy

All programs that are shipped directly from CDE Software, come with a 30 day money back guarantee.

CDE provides this guarantee to provide ample time for you to make a decision if the software meets your needs. CDE provides downloadable demonstrations of most products for you to examine before purchase.

- What can be returned

Only products purchased directly from CDE Software may be returned. Returns will be accepted only when the following conditions have been met:

• The shrinkwrap on Clipart products has not been broken.
• The product was physically shipped to you.
• The product has not been discontinued.
• The product will be returned at customer expense.
• A return authorization number has been requested within 30 days of the purchase and was given to you by CDE Software staff to place on the returned product box.
• Returns must be received by CDE Software within 7 business days after an RMA has been issued.

- To return a product

To return a product, you must do ALL of the following:

1. Contact CDE Software Support at 206.937.8927 to request a return merchandise authorization number. Products returned without an RMA number will not be accepted or processed.
2. Send the product and all packaging and enclosed materials to the following address, using a carier with a reliable tracking system (CDE Software is not responsible for lost shipments):

3. After CDE Software has received the package and has confirmed that return conditions have been met, you will be issued a refund using the same method as payment was made. Shipping and Handling fees are non-refundable.
4. CDE Software will not reimburse or refund any phone call expenses, supplies or materials used, or 3rd party expenses incurred (such as computer consultants).
5. Returns that do not have all the materials or is damaged (writing in manual, etc), will be assessed a damage fee of a minimum of $20.00.

Orders usually will ship within 1 business day. In many cases, orders placed weekdays before 12:00pm Pacific time Pacific time will be processed and shipped the same day.
