BLS-2010 A/S promotes the best league software for Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2000. CDE uses its experience with bowling software and its strong relationships with the bowling industry and manufacturers to provide the best third party league software solution. It's not only the best league software available, it's the easiest to use.

The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) is supported with this edition of the premier league secretary software edition and includes forms, sanctions, membership cards & awards for use in the 2009/2010 bowling season.    Run a USBC Sport League? The Sports League version of the forms are also supported by BLS-2010. Also new is support for uploading data to USBC for the 2007/2010 bowling season, which will soon become a requirement of sport leagues.

CDE Software is also proud to be the first to provide support for The National Bowling Association (TNBA). Founded in 1939, the TNBA is open to all bowlers and has over 37,000 Adult and Junior Members. Leagues can be certified with both USBC and TNBA.

BLS-2010 is tested for compatibility and reliability on Windows 7 and Windows Vista and has passed Microsoft designed tests to ensure compatibility with Windows 7 and Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit editions, minimize the possibility of crashes, hangs and reboots. and is listend on Microsoft's website under the "Compatible with Windows 7" and "Works with Vista" program.

To make your life easier, Microsoft recommends "Compatible with Windows 7" applications because they have passed Microsoft-designed test help ensure they install readily every time and minimize the number of crashes, hangs, and restarts you experience. This all helps ensure a compatible and reliable experience with any edition of Windows 7 including 64 bit.

Features

Many of BLS-2010 A/S features are features CDE and its BLS product line have been doing for years. Such features include:

• Support - CDE provides a dedicated technical support number and trained scoring specialists available only to customers with the automatic scoring editions of CDE products. Support is also available via online chat, message boards, email, fax and mail.
• Exports team rosters, bowlers, handicaps and averages to the front desk. From the front desk software, a league is then sent to the lanes so the bowlers can bowl.
• Imports scores to minimize or eliminate manually entering scores and increased accuracy of scores entered.
• Supports lane movement, giving instructions to the scoring system for which lane a team is on each game. Example: Team bowls on lane 1 for game 1, then moves 2 pairs to the right for each additional game. (Feature dependant on scoring system compatibility)

Compatible Automatic Scoring Systems

CDE Software interfaces with the largest number of automatic scoring systems available on the market. Even older scoring systems may be able to be interfaced by solutions offered by some our of partners.

Looking for a new scoring system? Each of our partners provides unique features and offerings. Because CDE Software does not recommend one partner over another, we strongly encourage contacting any of our partner's sales representatives to find what suits your business and budget. If you have any questions regarding the interfacing of our product with a partner, please contact our automatic scoring division staff. 

Certified Scoring Systems

In order to provide improved compatibility and support, many of our scoring partners have chosen to have their systems certified by CDE Software. This process involves the scoring company providing CDE Software with a system to do constant testing and compatibility checks. This also allows for improved integration as well as diagnosis of any issues that may come up, in order to better identify appropriate action and resolution.

Some of our scoring partners have either chosen to not be certified, have not yet begun the process or have let their certification lapse. These systems should perform very well with our products, however diagnosis of issues that may come up may be more difficult to troubleshoot or may be delayed in verifying compatibility checks.

Some of the older scoring systems, such as AMF Accuscore, Accuscore Color, Accuscore Plus or Brunswick AS80/AS90 scoring systems are generally compatible by replacing the front desk console with a solution by our scoring partners. Such solutions include Purrfect Desk and LCS.

Notice: These requirements are for the computer BLS-2010 A/S will be installed on. If you have a scoring system that is based on a non-supported operating system, such as AMF BOSS 8.x or Brunswick Centermaster, then you have several options available:
- Purchase a brand new scoring system (best solution, but highest investment)
- Purchase a replacement front desk / back office solution from your scoring manufacturer or a third party scoring product such as Vector Plus for Frameworks series scorers, Purrfect Desk from Purrfect Score, Conqueror Pro for BOSS / Conqueror Universal for Accuscore generation scorers from QubicaAMF. (great solution for a lower investment to carry you through until your ready to purchase a brand new scoring system)
- Purchase a new computer with Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Pro (best choice at this time) and network the new computer to your scoring network. While you can purchase the new computer from any source, we recommend that you purchase from your scoring system vendor for full support from the scoring system manufacturer. Providing that BLS can communicate and have access to the front desk (or server in some cases), it does not matter(good solution at the lowest price)

Important Notes About Discontinued Operating System:
No software company can effectively support any software for an operating system that the vendor is no longer selling, providing patches, addressing security issues, documenting or supporting. As of June, 2006, Microsoft officially dropped complete support for the Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows NT operating systems.
Because of the added capabilities and Vista operating system support, this software will not function as designed with Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT, nor can be installed. If you have a system using these operating systems, upgrade the operating system to Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2008 Server, Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2000 or purchase a newer system with a supported operating system.
